State Vice President and Minister responsible for Disaster Management Affairs, Right Honourable Everton Herbert Chimulirenji was speaking at Chikuli L.E.A School ground, T/A Ntchema in Chiradzulu where United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) made a donation of teaching and learning materials to schools that were affected by the March 2019 floods and cyclone Idai.
The Vice President described the donation as timely tonic to improving quality education as the materials will be distributed to all schools that were hit by the floods.
The donation include chalk boards, text books and scheme work books.
